Why don't I see any steps?

Good Steps needs permission to read your steps from Apple Health. On your iPhone, open Settings › Health › Data Access & Devices › Good Steps and turn on Steps and Walking + Running Distance.

How do I add a widget?

Touch and hold your Home Screen or Lock Screen, tap Edit, then add a widget and choose Good Steps. To change a Home Screen widget's colour, touch and hold it and tap Edit Widget.

Why is my widget a little behind?

iOS decides how often widgets refresh and keeps Health data locked while your phone is locked, so widgets can lag by a few minutes. Opening the app updates them straight away.

How do walk reminders work?

Turn them on in Settings › On track. If you're behind at your chosen time (5pm by default), you'll get one reminder with a suggested walk. If you're on track, it stays quiet.
